The tours take place on paved sidewalks and well-cared-for trails, so any athletic shoe will suffice. San Francisco has a temperate climate with afternoon winds most of the year (stronger on the West side of the city and on top of hills). Wear, layers, layers, layers – short or long-sleeved shirt, vest/light jacket/windbreaker, sweatshirt plus long pants are advised much of the year.

All tours will include one or more public bathroom stops, many of which have drinking fountains. You should bring your own water and light snack, however, to be prepared.
